Tree work in Yandina Creek
Coolum Creek parkland and a heritage homestead
Queensland lists Coolum Creek Conservation Park as a conservation park under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, and most of it lies within Yandina Creek. Council's environment levy register adds three parcels of the Coolum Creek (west) Environment Reserve, bought in 2018. Nothing growing inside the park or those reserves is trimmed from next door, so a job on a shared boundary starts by settling whose tree it is.
The planning scheme's heritage overlay maps Yandina Station Homestead, a privately owned building, as a Local Heritage Place. Tree work near it is planned so that roots, limbs and machinery stay well clear of the listed building.

How it works
What happens after you get in touch
The council question is answered before the price, and nothing is booked until you have the quote in writing and have said yes to it.
- 1
Tell us about the tree
The suburb, what the tree stands near and what you would like done with it.

- 2
Someone comes to look
A tree contractor who covers your area sees the tree, the access and whatever is underneath it.

- 3
The council position is checked
Lot size, how close the tree is to the house and the mapping on the block decide whether an application comes first.

- 4

Scope, timber, stump and date set out on one page. Nothing is booked until you accept it.

Yandina Creek questions
Burn days in the Gull'bu rah bushland
When is the Gull'bu rah bushland burnt?
Council lists a planned burn in Gull'bu rah Environment Reserve completed on 6 August 2025, and a further burn of about 6.4 hectares there on its 2026 proposed list. Jobs near the reserve are booked around those dates, since burn days and smoke can stop work close by.
How often does the reserve get burnt?
Often enough to plan for. In 2023 council named Yandina Creek among nine sites to be burnt before September, with Gull'bu rah its site here. Dead trees and hanging limbs near the house come out, and canopies are lifted off roofs, gutters and sheds, before each season.
